IndexNow is a single open protocol. You notify one endpoint and it fans out to every participating engine, so there is nothing to configure per engine.

Why this matters for AI search
AI answer engines lean on search indexes. Here is the actual chain, without overstating it.
Bing's index feeds the assistants
Microsoft Copilot, DuckDuckGo and ChatGPT web search all draw on Bing's index. When a Bing API outage happened in May 2024, all three went down together. A URL that IndexNow gets into Bing is therefore reachable from all of them.
ChatGPT search has its own crawler
OpenAI runs OAI-SearchBot separately from GPTBot: a site can appear in ChatGPT search while declining model training, and this console explains which crawler does what.
Google's AI features use Google's index
AI Overviews and Gemini answer from Google's own index, which is why the Google Indexing API and Search Console half of this product matters as much as the IndexNow half.
Independent AI crawlers still need access
Perplexity, Claude and others crawl the web directly. Allowing them in robots.txt is what keeps a page eligible to be cited at all.

Honest limits
Google indexes the content types it documents for the Indexing API, and everything else goes through sitemaps and Search Console. We state that plainly instead of implying a shortcut.

How this differs from per-link indexer services
Most indexer services sell credits. This is a console with a plan, and the difference shows up in what you can actually see and control. The right hand column is what DependsiT Indexer does.

What this does not do
It does not build or index backlinks you do not own, it does not ping endpoints in bulk to simulate activity, and it does not promise that a submitted URL will be indexed. Submission means an engine was told; indexing is the engine's decision.
Why that is deliberate
Shortcut indexing tactics carry real risk to the site they are pointed at. A console that reports a response code and a Search Console verdict lets you fix the actual problem instead of buying another batch of credits.
Questions
Which search engines does Indexer submit to?
Google is reached through the Indexing API for the content types Google documents, and through sitemaps and Search Console for everything else. Bing, Yandex, Seznam, Naver and other IndexNow participants receive URLs through the IndexNow protocol. IndexNow is a separate protocol and does not submit to Google.
Do I need my own Google service account?
Yes. Indexer is bring-your-own-key. You create a service account in Google Cloud, enable the Indexing API and add the service account as an owner of your Search Console property. That keeps your quota and your data under your own control.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free covers one domain, 20 Google submissions and 200 IndexNow URLs a day, with one manual sitemap sync. Business adds 10 domains, automated syncing, bulk upload and alerts. Agency adds unlimited domains, five pooled keys and 1,000 Google submissions a day.
How are my credentials stored?
Service account JSON is encrypted at rest with Fernet symmetric encryption and decrypted only in memory when a submission runs. It is never written to a log and never stored in plain text.
What is a search engine indexer?
A search engine indexer is the part of a search engine that stores pages so they can be returned in results, and the term is also used for tools that help a page get into that store. Indexer does the second job: it notifies Google and the IndexNow engines about your URLs, records what each engine answered, and audits the real coverage state with Search Console.
Will this index my website on Google?
It submits your URLs to the Google Indexing API, syncs your sitemaps and audits coverage with Search Console. Google decides what to index, so no tool can guarantee it, and a tool that promises it is not being straight with you. What this console gives you is the submission record and the actual verdict for every URL.
How do I ask Bing to crawl my site?
IndexNow is the direct route. Add a domain, and Indexer hosts the IndexNow key file for you, then submits your URLs to a single endpoint that shares the notification with Bing, Yandex, Naver, Seznam.cz and Yep. There is no separate Bing submission step.
Can I index backlinks I do not own?
No, and the product is built that way on purpose. Only domains you verify as yours can be added. Submitting URLs you do not control is how bulk ping tools put a site at risk, and it is outside what this console will do.
Which engines receive an IndexNow submission?
Microsoft Bing, Yandex, Naver, Seznam.cz and Yep. Google does not participate in IndexNow and is reached through the Google Indexing API, sitemaps and Search Console instead. Amazon is not a participant either: Amazon uses IndexNow to publish its own product content.
